MISSION STATEMENT
HeARTworks is a multifaceted arts organization and our mission is to define new pathways in arts education through arts programming, art and brain research, community partnerships and collective impact art projects.

OUR VISION
We are dedicated to providing transformational pathways through the arts. Our Arts Educational Programming is through frameworks of social justice and culturally responsive education models. We address and acknowledge that art is of great and societal value.  By demystifying art through increased access and integration of arts and culture programming into our educational system, we can change the current systemic neglect of art. Our vision is to illustrate how vital the Power of Art  truly is for our youth, communities and city to thrive while ensuring the best possible future for generations to come.

GOALS
  • Advocating for public and private support of arts education.
  • Supporting and amplifying Spokane's Arts Ecosystem by encouraging collaborative efforts among local artists, arts organizations and community partnerships.
  • Educating community leaders and policymakers about the proven benefits of arts education
  • Celebrating the value of arts and culture helps our community understand its place in the world.
